Park Board Officers and Information

The City of Brownsboro Farm established a Parks Board with the City Government in May of 1993. The primary responsibilities of this Board are the maintenance, operations and further development of the City owned land and recreational facilities in the park. This board operates under the direction of the City Commission. 

During the past several years the Board has worked very hard to maintain support and improve our city facilities. Several major projects have been completed including the new pool and community center. Other projects that are currently in the works are the playground equipment, wild flower and tree plantings, lower park bridges and the Brownsboro Farm Walking Path from Broadland Trail.

The Park Board is made up of volunteer residents, appointed and approved by the City Commission, who organize committees to complete the tasks required to maintain grounds and facilities as well as develop programs for city residents. Residents are encouraged to join the Park Board which meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the City Community Center. Contact a member of the Park Board or attend a meeting to apply.
